--sara roggemann, houghton, michiganI just wanted to say that you have the friendliest staff that I have encountered in a Madison store. Your staff is so helpful and enthusiastic about their love of beading. It makes your store one of a kind, and I always have to stop by when I visit Madison! --jeri schnabel

In the past two weeks I've saved over $60 in jewelry repair "costs by repairing my own jewelry. Thanks to Pam, Meredith and Jeanne - you're the best!!"

History of the Bead Bin
The Bead Bin opened in 1994 in a tiny, 250 square foot space, just big enough for a small glass case, cash register, and two walls of hooks. We were using TV trays for our classes!
A few years later, when we couldn't fit in one more bead, we moved into a space four times bigger. Now, the store size is perfect for all the wonderful beads, findings, stringing materials, books, tools, display samples and a TABLE for classes.
Back then, we had to be creative looking for ways to bring more beads into the tiny space, and that has since helped us successfully fill this store to the brim without being cluttered or disorganized.
Our customers love the relaxed, friendly, easy-to-shop atmosphere and are inspired seeing and hearing about work done by our employees. Everyone loves working there and it shows in their enthusiasm and willingness to share their knowledge.
We offer classes because we want everyone to enjoy beading as much as we do. We have great teachers and small class sizes because we want people to be successful in learning a new technique, and not frustrated.
Our customers have always told us that we have a great selection and good prices, and often hear that we’re “the only ones that have this.” We make sure we have crystals, gold, silver, glass, gemstones, seed beads (Czech and Japanese in most sizes,) lampwork glass, great findings and charms, but also the unusual.
One of the best things about our shop is that we have a tremendous amount and variety of loose beads to choose from as well as strands and quantity bags for people who just can’t get enough!
You can’t walk into the store without being completely taken in by the colors, the textures, the inspiration, and most of all, the POSSIBILITIES!
