This class will feature wire coiling by hand, cutting, then putting the coils of wire together for the endless wire look. Kumihimo, a “gathering” (kumi) of threads (himo)” is an ancient art of Japanese braiding that uses a portable foam wheel. You will learn this technique and make a bracelet using embroidery floss and beads. The finished project looks complicated, but is easy and fun to do. A great portable project to take on trips – even on planes!
