A string of pearls on silk cord, with knots between the beads is a classic accessory. Knotting can be a relaxing project. A variety of adaptations can be made to create different “looks” as well. This class will cover the basics in planning and completing a knotted choker-length necklace.

A must for those wanting to get into beading, this class covers all the basics related to bead stringing and includes a hands-on stringing project. This is where you begin your bead journey!

Creative Wire Wrap WorkshopInstructor: Liz Jones
Do you collect interesting “found objects” but haven’t “found” out how to incorporate them in your work? Bring your thinking caps and basic wire skills and discover how to “cage” your beloved stone or object, and to creatively add wire and bead adornment to make your one-of-a-kind treasure! Warning: This class may awaken your dormant creative juices!

Loopy BraceletInstructor: Gail Piper
Learn several basics in this oldie-but-goodie class that is offered regularly at the Bead Bin. You will create a base bracelet in flat herringbone and then enhance it with lots of loops. Your choice of beads and length of loops makes it either elegant or fun and frivolous.

Wire 101 1/2 - The Basics & BeyondInstructor: Liz Jones
Learn the basics of wire work and how to make your tools work for you. Class covers basic “rules” of open and closed loops, “S” clasps and using jump rings. Then go beyond the rules to make your own free-form wire dangle pendant.
